GTV-6

Born from the Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT and GTV, the GTV-6 featured the 2.5 liter SOHC V6 designed by Giuseppe Busso which complimented the excellent handling characteristics and weight distribution of the De Dion transaxle. The GTV-6 also successfully raced and dominated the European Touring Car Championship from 1982-1985 amongst many other victories.

The Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo, S.p.A. produces some of the most thrilling automobiles known to man. The company's first name is A.L.F.A. an acronym that roughly translates to a group of investors who intend on building cars. The unique badge of the cross and serpent was adopted from the crest of Milan where the factory was established. In 1915 it acquired its last name - Romeo after Neapolitan industrialist Nicola Romeo bought the company. Alfa Romeo is one of the most successful marques in racing and has been competing since its inception achieving success in every level of motorsport. Today, Alfa Romeo is part of Stellantis, but it is still renowned for building well engineered, sporting automobiles that any driver would appreciate.
